Before the women start breeding she falls in love with many males and leaves those males who do not help raise the child. Did you know sharks lay eggs! Pups are called baby sharks and lots of pups together is called a litter. Pups are born 10 to 12 months after breeding. Pups take care of themselves, they even hunt by themselves. After few years the pups turn into juveniles. Adults are about 10 to 15 years old. Great whites breed at this age but it also depends on the type of shark for when they breed as an adult. Did you know that sharks aren’t killers they only kill 10 people a year and toasters kill 40 people that is less than people getting shocked by a toaster!
