Reflectoin of the migration story of Durga 

I think the most hard thing of all was finding imges that I could use and then make different photes commbind and make them look good. I think anthor hard thing 

to do was write the story and make it a movie to watch and editing the video

was also a very tough thing to do even though  I edit my youtube videos.

But the whole prseger of making the story and editing it in to a movie 

was fun and more interesting to do then just write a story this makes 

it more fun for the person who is watching the video then reading

the whole thing.  And imovie is an interisting website to work

on and if imovie is a choice that to pick from other apps

to use I think you sould pick imovie even though it

will be really though.

The Tiger Hunt

I wrote a story about my Nana's Migration and sprinkled in some Historical Details after I wrote my Historical Fiction migration story I signed up to do Paper-slides. In Paper-slides I had to plan who was going to help me with what so I ended up with Marie moving my pictures and Fia video taping my story. After we had practised we did our final one and then I had to reflect on Paper-slides

Reflection:

I enjoyed drawing my pictures to go with my story and drawing my backgrounds on my story 

I was challenged by drawing the backgrounds and pictures in just 2 days and having other home work to do too  

I could have worked harder on staying on task with my friends and not disturbing other classes with me and my friends laughing so much 

I learned how to put paper-slides together and i also learned how to draw pictures better because i had lots of practice

Malaika's Migration Story

I’ve captured my family’s migration events in this Historical Fiction story.  The most important thing I will always remember about migration is that when people migrate there can be big risks but there can also be opportunities.

I’m proud of my work because I think it really tells my Grandfather's story the way he would tell it but maybe a little bit better and more detailed.

The importance of this work is that one day the person that you write about passes away one day and so it is good to still have their life story to remember them and to tell the world about how important their life was and how they made a difference in the world.

I learned that in book creator that it is like a real book even the pages
The thing that was challenging for me was drawing the picture because it took about 5 minutes to draw a picture and write the sentence.
The thing I like in book creator is that it is innovative and you can do lots of stuff in it like you can draw on the screen and more

The Long Way Home

In this piece of writing I was most proud of the handmade pictures I drew. I was also proud of the way I split parts of my writing into different pages. 
During this unit I learned how to use internal thinking in my piece. I also learned that we have to start a new paragraph every time a new person speaks. 
This piece is important because I helps us get a better understanding of telling a story that another Pearson told us. Another reason why it is important is because it helps develop more skills in writing like using internal thinking. And finally why it is important is because other people can see what we have done. A New Life By Naman

     In this project, I learned about iMovie and other digital resources. I also learned about my mom and dad's long journey to Mumbai and why they did it. Even though I changed that part I still learned about it.

     I am proud of my final draft and how I used iMovie to make my movie and iMovie was the hardest digital resource but most useful.

The Grate Transition

I am proud of my pictures because, I think that they are really historical,  also it really describes the story very well and it  tells the story as I want to tell it.
I learnt that it takes a lot of  time ,and that it can be frustrating to record and start  again, and also that you can do anything if you try.

For this unit we did historical fiction and we wrote a story of one of are
ancestors  and made a video and every week we where hard at work to
finish it and there where three chooses voices thread book creator and
iMovie. When I was making my slides I was really proud of the way
that I talked it cause it all went with the pictures and story. My favorite
part of the hole thing was when I was making it because it was really fun.
In this hole thing I really learned a lot like how to make a voice thread
and how to find pictures that are copy right. and it was really fun to do
the hole thing with others.

Through the eyes of migration

This is a story based on my grandparents migration story. Some bits of fiction were also added. I am very proud that I completed this project because it took a lot of hard work. This project was the hardest to complete because of the amount of time we got to complete it. I did a good job finding good pictures to use in my book creator. I also did a good job with the attribution list. It took me a long time to find out the creators of the photos I used. Of course. I never could have done this project without help. If there is anything I learned it is that nothing can be done without effort.

This is the story of how my grandfather migrated to Netherlands. I got this story from a interview with my grandfather.

Survive till the end

In this unit, I learned more about my grandfather, and how different it was how he lived when he was my age (10), and how he suffered through challenges, risks, and obstacles. I also learned about how he migrated because I thought that he took a plane, but in the war, it was a massive risk to go on a plane. So then I understood about how much transportation he had to take, to get to safety.

I am proud of how much frustration I had, that I persevered through. During this unit, I chose iMovie for my story to be presented in a digital way. In iMovie, it is very complex to get what you want so I also had to manage complexity while making this film.

The importance of this work was to know more about my grandfather, and experience with new movie making tools which I have never even used before this movie.

The Changing In Time

This is my migration story about my grandfather.  One thing I did very well in this project was music, it fit in the song perfectly even though it is in Italian. I learned how to use iMovie and how to actually post stuff on the world wide web. It was very exciting while making the digital story. The importance of this is to express my feelings. The importance of this was to learn as much as you possibly could about your relatives or some people you know which migrated at any time, any place. iMovie was really hard. It was really frustrating when I lost all my iMovie and I thought that I had to start again, but I did not luckily. I was really scared that I would not finish but at the end, a miracle, a beautiful movie appeared. A movie, a real one.

Life of a Migrant Family

I am extremely proud of my PaperSlide because every afternoon I would hop off the bus, gobble up my snack, whip out a pencil and paper and draw every prop and character I had time for. Then I would repeat this every day. Then I'd come to school and practice every chance I got. At the last minute, my slider didn't have time to practice, so I asked her to narrate. When she refused, I searched for a person willing to narrate and found one quickly,  but her friend was sad she didn't get to, so I asked her to record. This worked well until I realized on recording day that my recorder wasn't there! So I asked a nearby friend to quickly record for me. Of course, my recorder was let down, but the substitute had fun and later asked me to record for her. I said yes, remembering my loss of narrator.

I learned quickly after started that this project was going to take WAY longer than I had thought. Originally I had thought 'Easy! Day 1: Draw. Day 2: Practice. Day 3: Record. I was wrong. WAY wrong. It took me more than 15 sessions and more than 15 afternoons just to finish the PROPS. Then another 15 of each for the characters. Practicing also appeared challenging. All my team members also had to be working on theirs, too. My credit goes to Celine Pederson, my last minute narrator, Anoushka Shahane as my last minute recorder, and Amelie Young for volunteering as my recorder. As you can see, these members of my team are all last minute, and even me as the slider, learned how to slide at the last minute, we didn't practice more than twice due to the fact we were late, and that was our last session before it was due.  Recording appeared easier, but we shot 4 times before a blog worth shoot appeared.

I learned a lot more about my ancestry when researching. The main character of my story, Hannah Jensen, comes from my mothers side. I interviewed my grandpa to find out more. Click here for the interview I hosted. Anyway, I am American, and I know now I am part Danish, too!

This project was important because for one thing, we learned a lot more to teamwork. We learned you can't slide, narrate, and record all at the same time. After this realization, we had to create teams. And you had to assist the teams your in well, and you have to lead your group wisely, and work as team. Otherwise you won't get anything done. And seriously, teamwork is something you all need to do and be good at. If you cannot use teamwork, you cannot use Paper Slide. You cannot play team games. You cannot do so many things without teamwork, and this project was really important since we can all improve our teamwork in one way or another.

My Grandfathers Escape from Destiny

This is my grandfathers escape from destiny. I used Imovie and it was challenging and difficult and I found Imovie fun and interesting. It was fun and cool on how you could do use it in many way's and itwas a very great experience in my opinion.
